![]() So far it's been basic painters tape and krylon plastic paint sprays :) I actually like the sunkist body the most! The alien artwork with top secret is also pretty cool too! By the way, how did you get the scales down the middle and along the lower sides? Did you use sickers on the inside and paint the green first, then follow up with the darker paints? Dude, my MERV's balls just shrunk! You have some sick skills at painting! I bought an airbrush kit, so i'm gonna start small, and eventually i'll have some artistic talent hopefully. I have the big block conversion kit coming to harness the bigger brushless motor - my goal is to break 80! I'm converting my MERV into a high speed street machine. Do they last a while? I may have to have him make me two sets. I actually already sent gone bananas a pm. Oh, the GMC top kick - that is real wood in the bed!!!įor those who do not want to see the pictures - I am sorry for so many. haha! she keeps telling me i need to buy her new parts like a wheelie bar, tires, etc. All the bodies you see in the pictures are painting for my e-revo and the wife's e-revo. I will have more up to date pictures soon. I resolder my wires and cleaned it all up so it looks much better now. You will see in some of the pictures the aluminum KD chassis.the picture of under the body is pretty dirty and messy. I had some nice steel dog bone drive shafts but they kept popping out so I installed the Traxxas Summit long drive shafts (these work great) I have my second JR z9100HVT steering servo so I can install both of them to replace the stock servos. It has the new Tekin 2250 RX8 ESC and motor. It started out as a revo 3.3 chassis, tranny, arms, and bulkheads.then I converted it to the tekin system but that was not good enought so I upgraded to the first Kershaw Design revo brushless conversion chassis but the cuts were all off and the battery trays were very small (it was over priced and a crappy product.) I sent the KD shassis home and now I am sticking with the stock e-revo chassis. I have my custom bodies on their way in the mail. Here are just a few pictures of my custom e-revo but I have more to come. I will be running it tomorrow, Saturday, and I will let you guys know how it drives. Yes, with the roll cage and T-Bone chassis plate and bumpers it is heavier then stock. I had to wheelie bar first so it stayed on when I installed the T-bone bumpers but I will take it off today.
